Welcome to Soule Elementary, Home of the Cowboys & Cowgirls: Where Legends Begin!
Soule was built in 1995 and is located just north of the middle of town. We are a Kindergarten-5th grade elementary school. At Soule Elementary, your child will be encouraged, challenged, and so very loved!
Mission Statement: To provide a safe environment where respect and success occur, with a curriculum that challenges students to grow in an ever changing world.

Meet the Principals
Meet Principal of Soule Elementary, Amber Cunningham. Mrs. Cunningham graduated from Derby High School and spent her college years at Wichita State University
and Fort Hays State University.
My name is Amber Cunningham and I am so appreciative to serve as Soule’s Principal. 2020 was my first year as an administrator and I am so honored to continue to work alongside such amazing staff and students! Prior to becoming an administrator, I loved being Instructional Coach (here at Soule) and enjoyed teaching in Wichita and Dodge City. I grew up in Arkansas and Massachusetts, but mostly in Derby, Kansas. I enjoy family time with my husband, Brock, and 4 kiddos: Alexis, Chandler, Kimberlyn and Skyler. We love our poodle puppies, Barkley & Duncan!

Meet Kim Armstrong, Assistant Principal at Soule Elementary! Born and raised in Dodge City, Armstrong and her husband are proud parents of two daughters. With more than 25 years in education, Armstrong is passionate about helping students grow both academically and as individuals. She loves working alongside staff to best meet the needs of their students. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, instructional coach, principal, and assistant principal. Outside of school, Armstrong loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading a good book and baking delicious treats in her free time.
